Luciano Gutman, of our IT, Data Privacy & AI department participated in the 2025 edition of the ID Latam Forum, an event that brings together governments, companies, and civil society organizations to address current opportunities and challenges for digital identity projects across the region.
Luciano spoke on the panel “E-commerce, Retail and Digital Identity,” where he explored the key intersections between digital identity management and the protection of personal data in e-commerce. This topic is of great relevance in digital identity projects, where privacy plays a central role in building user trust.
In addition, the panel fostered a very engaging discussion on liability for errors made by chatbots and artificial intelligence agents, during which Luciano had the opportunity to share recent court cases from North America.
At Lerman & Szlak, we value these spaces for dialogue, and we are proud to contribute to them through our specialized team.
