Lerman & Szlak Welcomes María Laura Etcheverry as Senior IP Manager of its Intellectual Property Practice

Lerman & Szlak is pleased to announce the incorporation of María Laura Etcheverry to its team, strengthening the firm’s intellectual property practice with her extensive experience and academic contributions.

María Laura is a lawyer from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (with honors), holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from FLACSO Argentina, and is a certified Industrial Property Agent. She brings more than 17 years of professional expertise advising both local and foreign clients on the protection and defense of intellectual property rights.

Her professional practice has been focused on litigation, transactions, and prosecution, with a particular emphasis on patents, industrial designs, and plant variety protection (PVP). Over the course of her career, María Laura has participated in numerous seminars on intellectual property and has collaborated on several articles in national and international publications, contributing to the development of knowledge in her area of expertise.

In addition to her professional practice, María Laura is a faculty member at the University of San Andrés, where she teaches Patent Law at the Postgraduate Department.
