Through Provision No. 5/2026, published on April 16 by the Argentine Copyright Office (DNDA), the Argentine Association of Performers (AADI) was ratified as an entity authorized to carry out the collective management of related rights in Argentina, in line with the currently applicable regulatory framework.
In this regard, the authorization granted to AADI includes the collection and administration of the remunerations provided for in Article 56 of Law No. 11,723, including the public performance of performances fixed in phonograms, their communication to the public through transmission or retransmission by radio and/or television, as well as the management of rights related to media such as records and other reproduction formats, reinforcing its role within the system of collective management of related rights.
The measure is framed within the reorganization of the collective management system promoted by Decree No. 138/2025 and Resolution No. 536/2025, which establish new guidelines aimed at strengthening the mechanisms of control, registration, and publicity of these entities.
