Through Provision No. 4/2026, published on April 7, the Argentine Copyright Office (DNDA) authorized SAGAI (Argentine Actors’ Collective Management Organization) to carry out the collective management of related rights in Argentina, within the framework of the new regulatory regime in force.
This measure falls within the process of aligning collective management organizations with the framework established by Decree No. 138/2025 and Resolution No. 536/2025, which introduce enhanced requirements in terms of authorization, registration, and transparency.
In particular, the authorization granted to SAGAI covers the representation of performing artists (actors and dancers), including the administration of remuneration derived from the exploitation of their performances, reinforcing its role within the collective management system in the field of related rights.
