We are proud to share that our partner Celia Lerman has been appointed as a member of the International Games and Esports Tribunal (IGET), an international dispute resolution body for the video game and Esports industries established through a collaboration between the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).
IGET is the first independent, not-for-profit international tribunal dedicated exclusively to resolving disputes in the video game and Esports sectors. It was created in response to the rapid growth and increasing complexity of these industries, where intellectual property, technology, contractual, competition, and integrity issues frequently intersect.
As a member of IGET’s panel of neutrals, Celia may serve as an arbitrator, mediator, or expert in proceedings involving disputes arising within this ecosystem, contributing to the efficient and specialized resolution of conflicts through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
Celia’s appointment to IGET further strengthens her involvement in international initiatives focused on the evolving intersection of intellectual property and emerging technologies, particularly in fast-growing industries such as video games and esports.
