We are pleased to share that our partner Celia Lerman participated as a co-author of the 2025 edition of the IP Law Firms of the Future Think Tank report, an initiative of the International Trademark Association (INTA) that explores how intellectual property law firms are expected to evolve in response to the technological, economic, and regulatory changes reshaping the profession.
The report was prepared by an international group of professionals led by Barry Cohen and Sarah Bro. The project, originally launched in 2019 by Etienne Sanz de Acedo, CEO of INTA, was created to foster strategic reflection on the future of IP law firms and the impact of the transformations affecting the legal market.
The 2025 edition examines several of the key trends redefining the profession, including:
- The evolution of the legal and intellectual property markets.
- Changing client expectations.
- The adoption of new technologies in the delivery of legal services.
- The transformation of workforce and talent management models within law firms.
- The need to develop long-term strategies to adapt to an increasingly dynamic and competitive environment.
- The impact of artificial intelligence on intellectual property practice, including tools and trends that are reshaping the delivery of legal services.
Celia’s inclusion among the report’s authors reflects INTA’s recognition of Celia´s professional track record and expertise in the subject matter, our firm’s active participation in international initiatives that promote knowledge-sharing and thoughtful discussion about the future of intellectual property practice.
