Our partner Gabriela Szlak participated as moderator at the first Latam Data Summit, an event organized by Women in Data (LATAM) in San Rafael (Mendoza). The summit brought together women leaders in data and technology to reflect on how to govern data and Artificial Intelligence in our region.
During the panel, five speakers shared diverse perspectives on the challenges of implementing networks of Data Protection Officers in the Public Administration, how to transfer those experiences to the private sector, and how to design global privacy programs or privacy-by-design policies in AI environments. In addition, the event featured other panels with top-level speakers who generously and collaboratively shared their experiences and knowledge.
At Lerman & Szlak, we firmly believe that we need more spaces like this—where cross-sector dialogue among women from diverse disciplines contributes to building safe frameworks that foster a culture of responsible innovation.
