Rules and Manual of Use of the trademark PAÍS ARGENTINA
Did you know that Argentina has its own trademark?
This year, the official trademark of the Argentine Republic detailed herein was approved (“Argentina Country Brand” approved by Decree No. 460 of July 14, 2021) and the Rules and Manual for its use were recently issued (Resolution 60/2021 of the Secretariat for Tourism Promotion of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports).
The Rules and Manual of Use of the Argentina Country Trademark provides the licensing conditions, the procedure to obtain the license and its renewal, the rights and obligations of the licensee, and the grounds for its termination, suspension or revocation.
The license to use the Argentina Country Trademark may be granted for institutional use, on products and services or at events and the application to obtain it shall be filed through the Trámites a Distancia (TAD) Platform.
