Fee Update Of The INPI Procedures Portal

On December 27th, 2022, Resolution No. 122/2022 was published on the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic, through which the Industrial Property Institute made official an update in the fees for the procedures carried out through the web portal.

Since the tariffs currently in force date from June 2019, an adjustment of 220% will be implemented in two stages: (i) the first one of 110% as from January 1st, 2023; and (ii) the second one of 110% as from March 1st, 2023; in both cases, the increase will be applied on the current fees.

Likewise, the Resolution established that the fee to apply for a new trademark will cover up to twenty products or services of the selected class, applying an additional fee for each product or service as from the twenty-first one.
