Gabriela Szlak successfully taught the course “Legal and Regulatory Aspects of Marketing and Digital Business” as Lecturer-in-Law at the Master’s degree in Strategic Management of Marketing and Digital Businesses, University of Buenos Aires

The Master’s Degree in Strategic Management of Marketing and Internet Business at the Economics School of Buenos Aires University (UBA) is directed Marcos Pueyrredon its subdirector Maria del Carmen Ravelli and the Academic Coordinator Gustavo Koblinc. The Master aims to provide students with knowledge and skills to address business management and marketing under the digital paradigm.

The course “Legal and Regulatory Aspects” is lectured and coordinated by Gabriela Szlak since 2018 and addresses the legal and regulatory issues posed by digital businesses and e-commerce from a local and international perspective.

This year, as result of the pandemic lockdown in placed in Argentina, we had the challenge, like all teachers and students, to carry out the entire course through digital platforms. I thank my students for the valuable feedback received and the excellent disposition towards this format that was imposed on us, but which we learned to take advantage of together. In short, as a teacher, the experience was an enriching training for the new Master’s program that opened this year in 100% digital format and in which I will also be teaching the same subject,” said Gabriela Szlak.

The program provides students with tools to surf the fundamental aspects of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to the marketing and online business management.

The Master program aims to enable all graduates to design new Internet business models, apply the preeminent industry standards and technical norms that regulate these businesses, and identify and manage the legal and regulatory aspects of these business models.

This year, unlike previous years, the Master program is being taught 100% online, through zoom platform, which implies new challenges for both students and teachers, which we have been tackling satisfactorily for everyone.

It has been a pleasure for Gabriela to lead students in learning and analyzing key aspects of the legal and regulatory arena, which is fundamental knowledge for non-lawyer professionals working in the marketing and digital business industry.
