Nic Argentina Updated its Fees for all Registration Procedures, Renewal and Transfer of Internet Domains

On January 10th, 2024, Resolution No. 5/2024 was published on the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic, through which, the Legal and Technical Secretariat, in charge of the administration of the Argentine Top Level Domain, updated the fees for Internet domain procedures.

The new tariff came into force on January 15th, 2024, and some of the main points to be taken into account are the followings:

  • The “.ar” domain went from $1710 to $25.000, both for registration and renewal.
  • The domains “.com.ar”, “.net.ar”, “.gob.ar” or “.org.ar”, went from $855 to $8.500, both for registration and renewal.
  • Specific domains for online gaming and betting, such as “.bet.ar”, increased from $855 to $64.000, while domains representing insurance entities, such as “.seg.ar”, increased from $855 to $42.500.
  • Domain disputes were increased to $28.800 in all zones.
